Take a magical journey to the North Pole for a whimsical light display. On weekend evenings from November 28-December 28, The Wildlife Experience presents Winter WonderLights, a winter jubilee steeped in holiday cheer and fun family festivities. From a marvelous display of lights and music, a merry village, visits from Santa Claus and his reindeer, and screenings of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, let Winter WonderLights be a fun new holiday tradition for you!

The North Pole Express

Create a new holiday tradition aboard the North Pole Express, a magical lighted train that will transport you and your family back to a simpler time full of warm smiles and holiday cheer. You'll sing carols, share stories, eat cookies and drink hot chocolate while riding the rails. Trail of Lights

With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, more than one million twinkling lights will illuminate the beauty of a charming forest path at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. A children's play area including a treehouse will be along the trail path. Hot cocoa and refreshments will be sold to ward off the chill during the walk through the Gardens' trail.

Museum Depot Opens 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Santa Claus Express departures every 20 minutes. This year, Santa has decided to replace his sleigh and reindeer with the Colorado Railroad Museum's 346 steam locomotive and a team of historic passenger cars all decked out for the holidays. Guests will lose track of time as they are swept away by the gentle rock of the rails and fresh December air in the Golden foothills of the Rockies.
So climb aboard the Santa Claus Express and lose track of time over the holidays.
