We had a full day yesterday! We had my son's 10th birthday party and as soon as it was over, I surprised him my telling him, his younger brother and best friend were all heading to Elitch Gardens for the night! I'm pretty sure I have failed as a parent since my kids have never been to a real amusement park with roller coasters!

I have been wanting to go to Elitch Gardens since we moved to Colorado 6 years ago so I am glad my family finally got to check it out. My boys were actually a little nervous to ride some of the rides since they have never ridden a roller coaster before but after a little pep talk, they rode some including the Ferris Wheel and the half pipe! 

So this is only open for one more weekend so make plans next weekend to check it out!
